The State Fair in Raleigh for 2006 was just as any other year, except more deep fried stuff. 785,956 fair goers had their senses fed at this years version. Next year they will be deep frying the ferris wheel so be sure to check that out!

Great pics!!! I wanted to visit the State Fair, but no time… believe it or not. Any shots of downtown from the top of the wheel?

Hey Ernest, Unfortunately the main ferris wheel didn’t offer a great view of downtown, only a small portion of BB&T was visible at the pinnacle.

Apparently one of the smaller wheels had a better view, though.
