A few months ago I ventured to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher’s (an NC State Grad) 2.5 million dollar house to see what it was like. Here are a couple photographs of the North Raleigh home.

Loved the “what a dump” comment. If I lived in this house..I would never leave it. Padding around in my bunny slippers and housecoat..unshaven and permanent bed hair…thats the life! :) I am a weak man..good thing I am a working putz.

Enjoy your time with your family, it won’t be long before some owner is willing to pay you Mike Holmgren money (8 mil) and you will be back to coaching, just becareful what team you coach. You’ll be hated by Steeler nation just as much and as fast as you were loved! You did get your SB but there was a lot of misery mixed in with that throughout the years. Good Riddens Jaw, your lack of emotion all season fully prepared me for this day. Its time for all of us to move on.

Congratulations, on many levels Mr. Cowher!! And, THANK YOU for being one of a dying breed in the world of NFL Coaches where loyalty, honor and integrity go farther than the all mighty dollar! You did it….”One for the thumb!!” What more could any Steeler fan want!!?? Wishing you and your family all the best in the years to come!!!

Thanks too for being the person you are, honest, loyal, caring and a man of the greatest integrity. Guaranteed, you will be hard to replace but you certainly deserve to have this time with your family. Life is far to short to not take advantage of the opportunity when it arises. God bless you and your family!!Thanks so much!!

Beautiful house and as well it should be when you dish out $2.5 million. Greg in Ligonier – your house is bigger than the Cowher’s? I’m sure it’s just as beautiful. Wake up! Anyway, the Steeler Nation wishes Bill and his family the best and when Bill is coaching the Redskins in a couple of years, I will have another team to root for on Sundays. Go Steeler’s and also > the Pats and Ravens blow! Go Chargers!

Good luck Bill. We hope you get what you have been deserving in your house. It’s going to be hard to watch the Steelers play without seeing you shot on camera at the sidelines. I liked when you got mad because of the unfair calls by the refs. You go Bill!
