I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they are installing a new lighting system???

Maybe they are going to covertly add on a few floors in the dark to edge out the RBC Plaza?

maybe it will light up in diffrent colors so it attracts people to downtown Raleigh

Seriously, I had the same thoughts with the previous readers. I think it is not financially logical to add just a few floors, or even a new spire, just to re-capture the title of the tallest building. From this point on it will be RBC Plaza that will be used as a measure, not Two Hannover Square. Possibly, they are doing some work at the top of the building, be that construction work, or new lighting system.

It seems that the lights on the crown are coming on much later than the rest of the building now. Also there has been an entire floor with its lights on I’ve noticed for the past several days- strange.

I know there back! yeah! now there much brighter!
