WOW, looks like a lot of fun. The pictures are great. I’ve never been the Raleigh, these pictures make it look like a nice place to visit. When are you going to put more pics on your site? Would love to see more. Some suggestions: California, Maine, Destin Florida.

I’d never been to Raleigh until 7/21/07, and was actually visiting to see Harry Potter on the IMAX and Exploris. My friends and I had no idea that there was a street festival going on that day, but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I have to say that the city does know how to show folks a great time. I was really impressed with the festivities that were going on and the cleanliness of downtown. I actually began doing some research on Raleigh when I returned back home and found that there are several new buildings and skyscrapers going up in the near future. This is going to be great for the look of the city and its skyline. Additionally, I would like to comment on your Pittsburgh photos as well. I have visited Pittsburgh several times because I’m a “die-hard” Steelers fan and actually graduated from high school with Heath Miller (#83). Thanks for all of your awesome photography work and I can’t wait to see more of your work in the future!!!

There has been talks of making it an annual event, but I’m not sure if it will be or not. The RWO2 attendance was far below the attendance of the first event.

We’ll see if they have another one next summer. I assume they will, the crowd was still pretty large from this year.

Matt, that would make sense because at the time you probably met her, Alyse, she was applying for grad school at some schools in the Boston area. Definitely one of the most down to earth girls I know.

Tommy – Interestingly enough, my fiance and I crossed paths with her on a flight to Boston last March that was delayed for hours because of a snowstorm and rerouted through Charlotte. She was trying out for the a Patriot’s cheerleading spot.

Your night time shots always turn out so gorgeous. I wish I had a better camera! I agree with your comment on having more fireworks downtown. I don’t know if it would be feasible, but shooting them from maybe a high rooftop somewhere? Wow, the possibilities. I can say the fireworks looked pretty impressive from the Boylan Ave bridge!

Your photos are incredibly nice and sharp. I wonder how much your new lens had to do with it As for the event, I couldn’t make it this year, but judging from your photos I would call this an amazing success!!! Let’s keep in mind that this was a 12-hour event (11am-11pm), unlike last year. I wonder what the estimated attendance was for the entire event.
