The crane for RBC Plaza has risen to new heights, presumably its last increase. Middle floors are now visible from this angle. The Marriott has started to receive its EFIS cladding. I will be pleased once RBC shows off its shiny reflective glass exterior and gives the skyline a little more variety.

I think/hope the crane might have to go up one more time because of that stupid triangle spire they’re putting on top…

Great update photo, Matt!!! I, too, can’t wait to see that reflective glass of RBC Plaza. I think it will look nice when finished. As for the crane, I am pretty sure it will rise a little above its current height when they are done with the condos. Currently, they are working on the 20th floor and the main building should reach about the height of Wachovia Center before we see any increase.

Thanks for sharing your work with us, Matt.

Not much room left between BB&T and RBC to view the Edison is it?

Travis, I think we’ll be able to see the 410ft/24-story tower, but I am not sure we’ll be able to see the ~525ft/38-story one :( The former should appear behind the One Progress Plaza.

Great shot Matt. Keep them coming. When the Center Pointe condos are finished downtown Greensboro, we would love for you to come down and get a couple new shots of NC’s third largest city. The new Proximity Hotel is putting on the finishing touches as well. From my office on Green Valley Rd you can see the hotel with the O’Henry Hotel in the back ground. Greensboro Love.
