Late March Mini Series

March 26th, 2008
Here are few photographs sitting in the queue. Raleigh Sunset
Hodge Road and US 264 view. I expected the RBC Plaza to seem a little taller at this juncture.

Raleigh Moonrise
The full Moon rise accompanies construction workers on RBC.

Near the former Bickett Gallery
Skyline view near the former Bickett Gallery, nearly impossible to be had.

Remember when Progress Plaza Two was lit up at the top?

    FIRST!!!

What an excellent mini series!!! Loved the angle from the greenway, too. Of course, the first shot is hard to leave me unimpressed. I can only begin to imagine how things may look 5, 10, 15 years down the road. We definitely need a few 600+ footers 😉

I do remember when the top of PE II was lit up but have not noticed the chance recently.

Man that first picture is outstanding, great stuff.

I love that first photo. I want to see it again once the RBC spire is in place.

I still think the Archdale building is sorely left out of most skyline shots. I don’t know why I like the building so much – I really enjoy the shot from the Bickett Gallery. It makes it look like there are 4 nice-sized towers downtown instead of 3. I go to Seaboard Station all the time and I think the views from Halifax St. and the Logan Trading Co. are pretty awesome since the RBC Plaza reached a significant height.
