i dont know if its the lighting or your new hd powers or what, but to me, in the fayetteville street photo, rbc looks like a drawing or a cartoon in the middle of the rest of the city, almost like it were a rendering or something……great work as always tho!

enough politics I dont think I can deal with it anymore! Great pics regardless of what party you are voting for Matt!! How is that for bi-partisan??? All I can say go USA

Guys it doesn’t matter to me what political party you are for, but seeing a presidential candidate in your city and in person is something pretty cool. I didn’t even know he was going to be right there, but he stopped and even took a picture together with my wife and I.

Outstanding work Matt, as always. Every series has something new to offer. The Boylan Ave shot is definitely great!!! RBC Plaza looks like a space rocket ready to be launched to space from that angle  Glad to finally see Beau… She has grown up to be a beautiful dog.

Congratulations on your new home, too!!! We definitely have to celebrate :)

PS: Let’s leave politics out of this, please. I am definitely NOT an Obama supporter, but Matt’s photo is most certainly of great quality and we must recognise that. As Matt said, any presidential candidate coming to our city - especially downtown - adds a certain coolness factor. Even I would have taken a picture of Obama, regardless of my own political beliefs. On a funny note, where did Obama get the apple from? Hopefully he removed the label from the apple before he ate it

Agreed about keeping politics out. I like Obama. I think he’s an alright guy. I’m not going to vote for him because his politics do not align with mine, but if he is in downtown while NC is the focus of national attention due to the primaries, it is certainly a cool thing. The pictures look great. I especially like the “Boylan Traffic” shot. Great job.

    Matt,
you should get PAID to take these photos! They are absolutely FLAWLESS! F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S! I especially like the photo of Sen. Obama. For the record, he’s got my vote! I watched his speech live on CNN from Reynolds Coliseum. Anyway, great photos Matt!!!

Well there’s one thing everyone agrees on…….Matt’s AMAZING photos!

  15. Ernest wrote:

Matt, I have a feeling you have more photos in this collection… I don’t know why, but I have a feeling…. Check out your collection again and see if you missed something ;)

BTW, I am glad James brought up the Boylan Ave Bridge shot… I found it extremely nice, with all the traffic passing by!!! With the addition of the two Edison towers, Lafayette, the Clarence Lightner Public Safety Center and Wake County’s new Justice Center, the Boylan Ave Bridge angle will become richer, in every aspect!!!

The only thing missing in this series in Hillary! ;-)

I love the angle you got of RBC Plaza from Fayetteville street. It looks enormous! Can’t wait to see that spire finally go up.
    Congrats on the new house!

I LOVE! the picture’s and I support OBAMA!! 08 100%, by the way it’s great to have your own website because it’s your RIGHT! to do what you want on it! If you want to take picture’s of OBAMA and post them on YOUR WEBSITE that’s your right, so don’t stop for anyone else and keep up the good work Matt! When people get their own websites or can keep the one’s they have up to date! that’s when they can decide what goes where on there own site, Thanks again for the great picture’s of RBC, can’t wait for the building to be complete.
