It wasn’t my browser, it was my firewall…i’m using FireFox 3, but I just went into my firewall and enabled cookies for this site and now it works! =)

Excellent, as always! Can’t wait for the Edison, but Raleigh is looking great without it!

Congratulations on your new [backup] camera. The video didn’t play for me – it took too much time to load, so I gave up – but the photos are, once more, amazing. The quality of the images is simply outstanding!!! The fully lit skyline was definitely a treat 🙂

The video was a bit slow to load for me too – but it’s ok, I know how the shimmer wall looks. 🙂 I like how you can watch the lighting on that wall and even after 5 minutes, the patterns still seem unique. One of the things I love about this site is that Matt’s photography not only captures Raleigh and it’s moments in time very well, but it also leads me to think about each of the buildings in those images – what they are, and what they could be (example, I never gave the Capital Club Bldg much thought until it was isolated in the photo above). I also really love what the Progress Energy building adds to downtown, even though it’s only a mid-rise – if that building had been 25 stories or more, I think it could have have a dramatic impact on the downtown skyline.

It’s nice to see Hannover Two lit up in full holiday color again, but am I mistaken in believing that there were plans to light up the RBC Plaza spire in holiday color as well? I think it would be cool to see that morph from red to green to white – it’s not too late! We still have over 3 full weeks of December left! 😀 And speaking of RBC Plaza – that top photo is one of the more stunning shots I’ve seen since the building was completed. Great job, Matt!

I would just like to say this album, along with all the others, is outstanding!
We are all really lucky to be able to see these pictures for free.
More people should appriciate this site – unlike some of the rude “Raleghite” people on the Obama folder who say and I quote “This is a good site. I would have never brought politics into it though. I am going to have to delete this site” Well don’t let them get to you. I haven’t known this site for that long maybe a month &nd I get on it every day around 2 in Study Hall at Salem Junior High.
The quality of your photos is amazing, my camera, backup or not, would never have this great of quality, not saying I don’t like it or anything, it just doesn’t have this great of quality.

Anyways I need to stay on subject, these photographs are abosolutelyy some of the best I have ever seen in my entire life, which hasn’t been that long, but I have been interested in photography since I was three.

    Great Job!
