While I will not miss the Garland Jones Bldg, I think that the county could have done a better job saving it, along with the Lawyers Bldg. I am sure they have many ways to justify the loss of the existing buildings, but I am not 100% convinced they tried their best, and I am not satisfied with the proposed site plan. It is a rather attractive structure and I am looking forward to seeing the L Building - or something better - completed.
