Thank God Raleigh has you to make it look nice. Sadly, the skyline isn’t exactly blooming, but you can still make it look good 🙂 Thanks for this rewarding series. Can’t wait for the pollen season to get behind us.
Hey Matt. I think you should do a Future skyline photo from Wake Forest Rd, or Raleigh Duke Hospital with the Edison and Charter Square in the horizon. I think that would be sweet!!
Is there anything on this site that is dedicated to development outside the CBD? I’ve seen tower cranes up at Glenwood / 440 and theres one visible from Peace St in front of Blue Flame Tattoo. Anyone know of any others? Theres more to Raleigh than our little skyline with 3 kind of tall buildings.
Actually quite a bit of the site is devoted to other parts of the city, but the focus is obviously the skyline, given the name. There are also two apartment buildings going up near Cameron Village and there are two other apartments going up in Glenwood South with at least one other potential on the drawing board. There are also some potential apartments located just southwest of Moore Square (former Edison site) and a hotel going up on FS.ÂÂ

Glenwood/440 is for the new Hampton Inn, and the one on Peace St. is for the new St. Mary’s Apartments.
