Recent travel to Pittsburgh, New York, Boston, Atlanta and upcoming trips to San Francisco, Chicago and Orlando have somewhat limited my opportunities in Raleigh lately, so here’s a quick series that’s been sitting in the queue.

Wonderful job, as usual 🙂 Loved the cemetery angle, although it is a little creepy to think that our skyline is going to be “dead” for a while  Also. Terminal 2 is coming along very nicely and it is clearly a great and worthy improvement. Thanks for your photos. I am looking forward to seeing your upcoming sets from your travels.

John, thanks for the link. Initiald did a great job showing DT Raleigh. I used to post a lot at SSC (as Raleigh-NC) a long time ago, but I stopped when discussions went downhill and there were more unnecessary debates over stupid things than constructive discussions. I wish I had taken advantage of the events that day and taken some photos…

John- the pics at that link are awesome, but I really love the comments from people outside of Raleigh! Maybe we take things for granted.Â

This is not important, but I want to correct myself. I meant SSP, not SSC, although I participated in both forums.

Checking in for updates. Great photography as always. I’ve been down in FL for 18 months now, though I did make a brief visit back in March. The Boylan Bridge angle photo caught my eye immediately, it looks like a lot of cleanup work has taken place on the property east of the bridge? I’ve always hoped someone would purchase and redevelop that parcel into something very eye-appealing. Not big, mind you, so as to detract from the view of downtown, but something well designed with some eye-popping landscaping to accentuate the beautiful view.
