Agreed. I found this site while surfing and have it bookmarked now. My wife and I are taking a week drive from MN to come visit NC this fall, in part due to your work. Looks like a beautiful, growing city. Your stuff is amazing.

Well, he does happen to live here, so it is a little easier to take pictures here. Check his other sites listed at the bottom of the page for other cities.

I agree with JC… I have seen work from several great local photographers, who do a fantastic job capturing all those things about Raleigh we tend to ignore… The things that give our city soul and character. Matt, however, has successfully combined the street-level, as well as the [little, yet dynamic] skyline we have. Not many photographers can capture the essence of Raleigh from a far distance in a way Matt does. Knowing him at a personal level I can testify that he is a VERY modest, reliable and down-to-Earth person, and I value his friendship.

Your photos simply rock, the Pittsburgh ones are also excellent.
Grew up in Raleigh, and always new the William Christmas gave the city great bones on a great site.

Is 23 the elks building? some fraternity as I recall, great isolation shot.
