One Glenwood would be great for Raleigh.

@Ernest – One Glenwood sounds great…. so what are the odds of it happening? And would it add to the skyline? That seems pretty far from DT.

@Brad: The chances of One Glenwood happening as envisioned are good. Solid developers with good credit and hardly the types who propose pies in the sky. However, things can always go wrong, especially these days. As for the location, it is a downtown location, but at the edge of downtown. This project would have been nicely complemented by Winston Tower and The Hillsborough, along with other smaller towers. I doubt anyone would propose something larger for that area, but having a 39-story tower would set the tone for more to come and shut any critics who would like to kill high-rise proposals.

I was reading yahoo today and notice Raleigh was rated one of the “Coolest small cities in America” and also rated #2 for “America’s best cities for young professionals”. The links are below.

Sorry, Paul, but not in today’s soccer game 😉 It may be a friendly game, but there is still a rivalry between the two teams and we have a score to settle 😆

Yea, true. I’m a US supporter through and through. I’m just not a big fan of Klinsmann. After what he did at Bayern, I haven’t been one of his admirers. I don’t want to get too off topic though. 😉 I could go on for hours..

Really fantastic stuff. I read the article in Delta’s magazine on a recent flight and immediately recognized your work. So glad that you’re getting this kind of exposure, which you certainly deserve. Thanks!
