The Raleigh skyline and the 2005 NC State Fair Fireworks
Ok, so my original goal was to try and position somewhere atop the Wake Med parking decks off of New Bern Avenue to get a viewpoint with Raleigh in the foreground and the State Fair fireworks in the background, but I quickly noticed that the tallest deck didnt offer that vantage. It looks like the main patient building is possibly the only spot to view the skyline unobstructed from there. I'm not sure of a way up there to take photos. With little time to reposition, I decided that the "new" view provided by the 64 bypass might work. I can't say I was satisfied, but at least I got the skyline and some fireworks in the same frame.
